EXPOTERS, STOCKIST & MANUFACTURER OF TITANIUM GRADE 2 PIPES, Ti GRADE 2
Titanium grade 2 pipes are designed with high-quality raw materials that adhere to both national and international standards. They have high corrosion resistance, moderate strength, and high formability. They are also known as UNS R50400. This form of titanium is widely used. However, in comparison to other grades, they are weaker than grade.
NESCO ENGINEERING offers many custom-made pipes and tubes as per the requirements of clients. The unique features of these alloys make it more useful for the industry. It is 60 % dense, offer greater resistant to corrosion in comparison to stainless steel, has high tensile strength, non-magnetic and higher melting point.

TITANIUM GRADE 2 PIPES EXPOTERS, STOCKIST & MANUFACTURER
It comes in different types such as welded, ERW, seamless and fabricated in varying length like cut length, double or single random. These pipes come with a threaded, plain or beveled end. ASTM, ASME, and API are the common specifications for its dimensions. Specifications of titanium grade 2 pipes are- ASTM B 338 ASME SB388/ ASTM B337 ASME SB 337. UNS R50400 and WERKSTOFF NR.3.7035 are its equivalent grades. These pipes can be round, square, hydraulic or rectangular forms.
The pipes are coated and kept with capped ends. They need to be protected from rusting during shipping and thus are kept in bundles and wrapped with polypropylene sheets. Flat steel bands are used to secure the titanium grade 2 pipes.

Titanium pipes are used in a variety of industries and applications due to their unique properties and benefits, which include high strength-to-weight ratio, exceptional corrosion resistance, and biocompatibility. Here are some of the primary industries and applications where titanium pipes find use:
- Aerospace Industry: Titanium pipes are extensively used in aerospace applications, including aircraft frames, landing gear, and engine components. Their lightweight nature and resistance to corrosion make them ideal for aircraft construction.
- Chemical Processing: Titanium pipes are resistant to a wide range of corrosive chemicals, acids, and alkalis. They are used in the construction of chemical reactors, heat exchangers, and piping systems for chemical processing plants.
- Oil and Gas Industry: Titanium pipes are employed in offshore drilling platforms and subsea applications due to their resistance to seawater corrosion. They are also used in the transportation of corrosive fluids and gases in the oil and gas sector.
- Medical and Healthcare: Titanium’s biocompatibility makes it suitable for medical applications. It is used in the manufacture of medical implants such as orthopedic implants (e.g., hip and knee replacements), dental implants, and surgical instruments.
- Marine Industry: Titanium’s corrosion resistance makes it ideal for use in marine environments. It is used in the construction of ship components, desalination plants, and marine exhaust systems.
- Power Generation: Titanium pipes are used in power generation plants, including nuclear power plants, where resistance to corrosion and high temperatures is essential.
- Automotive Industry: While less common than in other industries, titanium pipes can be found in high-performance automotive exhaust systems due to their ability to withstand high temperatures and reduce weight.
- Desalination Plants: Titanium’s resistance to saltwater corrosion is crucial in desalination plants, where it is used in the construction of heat exchangers and pipes for the desalination of seawater.
- Sports Equipment: In some sports equipment, such as bicycle frames, golf club shafts, and tennis racquets, titanium pipes are used to reduce weight while maintaining strength.
- Chemical Laboratories: Titanium pipes are used in laboratory setups for handling and transporting corrosive chemicals and reagents.
- Food and Beverage Industry: Titanium pipes can be found in food processing plants where corrosion resistance is required for handling acidic or corrosive food products.
- Architecture and Construction: Titanium pipes are used in architectural applications, such as for structural support, where corrosion resistance and a modern aesthetic are desired.
- Nuclear Industry: In nuclear reactors and facilities, titanium pipes are used for their resistance to corrosion and high temperatures.
- Environmental Equipment: Titanium pipes are used in environmental control equipment, such as scrubbers and pollution control systems, due to their corrosion resistance and durability.
- Electronics: In some specialized electronics and semiconductor manufacturing processes, titanium pipes may be used for their chemical resistance.
