About Titanium Gr. 4 Plates & Coils
It has the good combination of strong resistance, corrosion resistance and thus shows the highest potency in comparison to any other unalloyed grades such as grade 1, 2 and 3. The plates specifications for grade 4 are similar to grade1, 7, 9 and 12. The titanium grade 4 plates coils dimensions are- EN, BS, ASME, AISI, ASTM, JIS and DIN. The standard dimensions are ASME SB 265/ASTM B265 and AMS 4911. They may vary in size within the range of 8 to 100mm.
These coils, and plates also vary in terms of hardness where some can be manufactured as soft, hard and other as spring hard, quarter hard or half hard. Based on their hardness they can be used in various applications. The titanium products can be finished as the hot rolled plate, cold rolled SATIN, 2B, BA NO (8) and 2 D. the grade 4 is the 5Al-2.5Sn alloy that has various inventory specifications.
